Second-Year Blueliner Returns

Fayetteville, N.C- Adding to their blue line for the upcoming season, Brad Campagna rejoins the Marksmen for his second year of professional hockey, the team announced Tuesday.

Campagna joined the Marksmen for the 2016/17 season following a three- game stint with the Knoxville Ice Bears. In 34 games in Fayetteville, the stay-at-home defender posted five assists, 40 PIM and finished the season with a +1 +/- rating.

The native of Monroe, New York has totaled 37 professional games, with his five assists equaling his career total for points.

Campagna began his junior career in the Atlantic Junior Hockey League during the 2011/12 season, lacing up for the New York Bobcats- one year before now-teammate John Schiavo skated for the same team. In 43 games for the Bobcats, the defender notched 10 goals while adding 12 assists for 22 points, in addition to 126 PIM.

Joining SUNY-Potsdam, Campagna spent the next four seasons with the Bears (2012-2016), appearing in 90 matches in that time, totaling nine points and 111 PIM.
