Marksmen Re-Sign Rearguard, Ink Robertson

Fayetteville, N.C-  Continuing to form this season’s version of the Fayetteville Marksmen, Sean Robertson has been re-signed by the Marksmen, the team announced Tuesday.

Robertson returns to the Marksmen, where he posted 22 assists on the season, while managing a plus-14 +/- rating, in his rookie campaign. Before joining Fayetteville, Robertson attended camp with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, eventually earning a call up to the club in February.

In total, the 26-year-old has 42 professional games to his credit, with 22 points, all assists.

Beginning his Junior hockey career in 2006, the native of Cobble Hill, British Columbia skated in 223 games the Victoria Grizzlies of the British Columbia Hockey League, lacing up for the team until 2012, when he joined the Vernon Vipers, also of the BCHL.

Robertson headed to Merrimack College of the Hockey East Division of the NCAA, for the 2012-13 season, and concluded his amateur career with the University of Guelph of the Ontario University Athletics in the 2015/16 season.
