Chuck Norris

Owner and CEO

Chuck Norris, Owner & CEO of the Marksmen and the SPHL’s Macon Mayhem, is a U.S. Army veteran who lived in Fayetteville for over 20 years.

Born & raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, Norris is a lifelong hockey and Detroit Red Wings fan.

After retiring from a 20+ year career in commercial and residential land development and construction, Norris acquired the Fayetteville franchise in 2016-17, and has been raising the standard of hockey entertainment ever since.

Under Norris, the Fayetteville franchise has seen growth every season in attendance and success on the ice.

Chuck lives in Charlotte with his wife, Lanai (Marksmen CFO) and their three children, Chucky, Lilly, and Khloe.

Lanai Norris

Chief Financial Officer

The 2024-25 season will be Lanai’s eighth with the Marksmen. As the Chief Financial Officer, Lanai oversees the financial aspects of the team-including budget items, revenue, and payments for both the front office and hockey operations department.

Lanai lives in Charlotte with her husband, Chuck, and their three children, Chucky, Lilly, and Khloe.

Alex Wall

President

The 2024-25 season will be Alex Wall’s fifth with the Marksmen, and his third full season serving as President after a promotion in February 2022.

Previously with Feld Entertainment, Wall was responsible for cultivating business partnerships around some of the world’s most iconic live shows. Before that, he spent five seasons leading partnerships and marketing for two highly-successful ECHL franchises – the Orlando Solar Bears and Jacksonville Icemen.

A Tampa, Fla. native, Wall graduated from Stetson University (DeLand, Fla.), where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and Marketing. Wall lives in Fayetteville with his wife Suzanne and their sons, Jacob and Matthew.

Denise Cline

Vice President of Merchandising

The 2024-2025 season will be Denise Cline’s sixth with the Fayetteville Marksmen, working as the merchandise manager.

A native of Fayetteville, Cline is a graduate of Terry Sanford High School and studied at Fayetteville Technical Community College. In the 2018-19 season, Cline completely overhauled the merchandise approach for the Marksmen, leading to new and attractive apparel being constantly available for fans.

Drew Blevins

Director of Creative Services

Drew Blevins is entering his first season in the director of creative services role for the Marksmen after having called over 100 SPHL games in his career as the play-by-play voice of the Marksmen from 2021-23.

A proud graduate of N.C. State University, Blevins majored in communication media with a minor in journalism. After two years spent teaching high school, he embarked on his professional hockey journey as a play-by-play voice for the FPHL’s Carolina Thunderbirds, the Marksmen, and the Rapid City Rush (ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames).

In his new role, Blevins oversees the creative elements for both the Marksmen and the Macon Mayhem, including jersey and logo design, in-game entertainment, graphic design, and more.

A native of Wake Forest, N.C., Blevins can often be found in the Triangle supporting the N.C. State Wolfpack and Carolina Hurricanes. He resides in Fayetteville.

Joey Huot

Director of Season Tickets

The 2024-25 season will be Joey Huot’s fourth with the Marksmen. Huot was promoted in March 2024 to director of season tickets after serving two-and-a-half years as an account executive.

A 2018 Central Michigan University graduate, Joey majored in broadcast & cinematic arts and received a minor in both sport management and journalism. Originally from the metro-Detroit area, Huot had stops in both the Frontier League (baseball) with the Evansville Otters and the Federal Prospects Hockey League with the Motor City Rockers.

Huot will oversee season ticket sales for the Marksmen while creating the best possible experiences for season ticket holders, and all attendees at the Crown Complex, whether it’s their first or 100th time.

Huot resides in Fayetteville with his wife Brandy, dogs Maple and Milo, and several other exotic pets!

Shawn Rose

Manager of Group Tickets and Operations

Shawn Rose is entering his third year with the Fayetteville Marksmen, and the first as Manager of Group Tickets and Operations.

Rose, a native of Virginia Beach, Va. was previously a history teacher in Danville and Virginia Beach, Va.

Growing up playing hockey for his hometown youth organization, the Hampton Roads Admirals, Rose would parlay his playing experience into a career in juniors with the New Jersey Wildcats. While in New Jersey, Rose graduated from Parsippany Hills High School.

Longing to return home, Rose enrolled at Radford University and played three years of club hockey for the Highlanders. In 2016, Rose graduated with a degree in social science.

Rose now resides in Hope Mills with his wife, Ellen.

Brian Knight

Director of Corporate Partnerships

The 2024-25 season will be Knight’s first with the Marksmen as the Director of Corporate Partnerships.

Knight, originally from Titusville, Florida, has called Fayetteville home for nearly 30 years. He retired from the US Army as a Command Sergeant Major in 2018 and had since worked as the area manager for the USO for six years prior to joining the Marksmen.

In his previous role, Brian was instrumental in the activation and distribution of tickets from the Marksmen’s Seats for Service initiative and has been a supporter of Marksmen Hockey for many years.

Brian lives in Sanford, N.C., with his wife of 24 years, Heather and they have three children, Branning, 24, Cameron, 21 and Evan, 18. In his spare time, Knight enjoys telling jokes at local open mic nights. He is a lover of all sports.

Erik Konwinski

Business Development and Broadcasting Coordinator

The 2024-25 season is Erik Konwinski’s second with the Marksmen. Konwinski oversees partner activation and serves as the play-by-play voice of the Marksmen on FloHockey as the team’s business development and broadcasting coordinator. He also acts the liaison between hockey operations and the public, manages player appearances, and coordinates community involvement with the team.

Konwinski came to the Marksmen after one season as the director of broadcasting & communications with the NAHL’s Oklahoma Warriors. Prior to his time in Oklahoma, he honed his broadcast and media skillset as a broadcast assistant for the OHL’s Erie Otters.

Originally from Alpena, Mich., he grew up in Erie, Penn. and could be heard on local and college radio while attending Gannon University.

Erik lives in Hope Mills with his fiancé, Abbey.

Chris Woods

Account Executive

The 2024-25 season will be Chris’ second season serving as an account executive with the Marksmen.

Woods brings years of customer service strategy to the front office and is your go-to for ticket information.

Previously with the Wilmer Stingers (North Woods League Baseball), Woods assisted the promotions department as a member of gameday staff and the on-field host.

Originally from Hancock, Mich., Woods is a proud Yooper and has a background in community outreach, including extensive experience as a local athletics coach.

Alex Caceres

Account Executive

The 2024-25 season is the first for Alex Caceres in the Marksmen organization.

Caceres comes to the team as a fresh graduate of the University of North Carolina in May 2023, having majored in sport administration. Following his graduation, he served as a community impact intern with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Originally from Tampa, Fla., Caceres is an accomplished baritone vocalist who maintains his passion for music through singing in church. He also participated in a capella groups at U.N.C.

Caceres now resides in Fayetteville, excited for his new journey in the Tar Heel State.

Andrea Barr

Social Media Coordinator

Barr joined the Marksmen front office staff in September 2024 as the team’s social media coordinator.

Born in San Diego, Barr has lived in seven different states, most recently moving from Austin, Texas, to North Carolina.

She is 2022 graduate of Siena College with a major in sports communications. After graduating, Barr spent one season as the marketing and sponsorship activation assistant with the Carolina League’s (baseball) Myrtle Beach Pelicans and one season as the creative services and social media manager for the Midwest League’s (baseball) Peoria Chiefs.

A proud adopted-Texan, Barr is an avid Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and Texas Longhorns fan. She currently resides in Fayetteville.

Scott Cline

Game Day Coordinator and DJ

The 2024-25 season will be Scott Cline’s seventh full season with the Fayetteville Marksmen, in the roles of game day coordinator and producing all in-arena sounds as the DJ.

A native of Fayetteville, Cline is a graduate of Cape Fear High School and studied at Fayetteville Technical Community College. The 2017-18 season was a return to post for “DJ Hitz The Mark”, who had previously worked with hockey in Fayetteville as DJ / game day staff for the CHL’s Fayetteville Force in the late 90s.
