FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Colton Sipperley for the 2026-27 season.

Sipperley, 25, from Tampa, Fla., aims to make his North American pro debut this season after playing his first professional season last year with Dijon in France, recording 16 points (7 g, 9 a) in 17 games for the team.

“We’re very happy to get Colton and add him into our stable of good players,” said Head Coach Garrett Rutledge. “Colton has had a very successful collegiate career and we look forward to him bringing that to Fayetteville. He’s very skilled, and a speedster on the ice.”

Sipperley joined the American junior hockey circuit after tearing up the Florida high school league with 49 points (25 g, 24 a) in 20 games for Freedom High. He played four years of NCAA division-III hockey at SUNY-Canton, where he recorded 43 points (18 g, 25 a) in his 88 games with the Roos.

“I am super excited to get up to Fayetteville,” said Sipperley. “I have heard nothing but great things about the city and about the team. I’m super pumped to be playing in North America again and can’t wait to meet all the Marksmen fans.”
