FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Monday that they have signed forward Christian Blomquist for the 2026-27 season.

Blomquist, 25, from Wauwatosa, Wis., comes to the Marksmen after a four-year collegiate career with NCAA division-III Wilkes University. In his 86 games with Wilkes, Blomquist recorded 58 points (20 g, 38 a). 31 of those 58 points came in his breakout senior season this past year, recording his first 10-goal season as a senior as well.

“We’re adding another high character player that brings size and scoring to our roster,” said Head Coach Garrett Rutledge. “Christian is highly respected by his coaches and teammates, something that we look for in Fayetteville.”

Before beginning his collegiate career, Blomquist tore up the NCDC for three seasons, recording 95 points (37 g, 58 a) in his 127 games at the NCDC level.

“I’m very blessed and grateful for the opportunity offered to me by Coach Rutledge and the Marksmen organization,” said Blomquist. “I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, my coaches from Twin City, PHC and Wilkes University for helping me progress my career and finally my family for their support every step of the way. I look forward to the upcoming season and am excited to contribute to the team.”
