Marksmen Re-sign Graeme McCrory

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Monday at their annual town hall event that they have signed forward Graeme McCrory for the 2026-27 season.

McCrory, 25, from Oshawa, Ontario, returns for his second season with the Marksmen after a strong rookie campaign that saw him put up 29 points (11 g, 18 a) in 49 games. He also spent 11 games with the ECHL’s Greensboro Gargoyles during a month-long call-up, scoring a goal and an assist over that span.

“Getting Graeme back is huge for us,” said Head Coach Garrett Rutledge. “Graeme led the way last season offensively, and we will be looking for him to continue his offensive and 200-foot game for the Marksmen.”

Prior to turning pro last season, McCrory spent four seasons with NCAA D-III Stevenson University. In 109 games with the Mustangs, McCrory recorded 45 points (19 g, 26 a), including a career-high 18 in his final season.

“I’m extremely excited to be coming back to Fayetteville,” said McCrory. “I loved my time with the team, the Marksmen fans, and the North Carolina hockey community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to put the jersey back on as there is definitely some unfinished business. I’m looking forward to getting to work with the new players coming and my teammates from last season to make a statement. I can’t wait to be back in front of the Marksmen fans and give them everything I’ve got.”
