FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Wednesday that they have signed forward Gage Dill for the 2026-27 season.

Dill, 24, from Fort Myers, Fla., began his professional career last season with the Quad City Storm, and scored his first professional goal in the two games he played with the Storm.

“With Gage, we’re adding a dynamic forward and elite playmaker at this level, which is very exciting as a coach,” said Head Coach Garrett Rutledge. “Gage will have an impact in all situations with the Marksmen. Gage is the type of player to get fans out their seats when he has the puck on his stick.”

At Curry, Dill put up gaudy numbers with 105 points (44 g, 61 a) in his 106 games. The Marksmen will look for him to bring that scoring prowess to Fayetteville.

“I’m really excited for the opportunity to play for Coach Rutledge and the Marksmen,” said Dill. “We’re committed to make this a playoff team and ready to create an atmosphere that our fans will be proud to be a part of all season.”
