FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, announced Tuesday that defenseman Ayodele Adeniye has been called up by the ECHL’s Reading Royals.

Adeniye, 27, from Columbus, Ohio, returned to the Marksmen this summer after being acquired by the team in a trade with the Peoria Rivermen in March. In 13 games with the Marksmen last season, Adeniye recorded four assists and 40 penalty minutes while establishing himself as a strong presence on the back end for Fayetteville.

The Marksmen start training camp this week ahead of their exhibition game against the Pee Dee IceCats on Saturday, October 10. Secure your tickets today to the Marksmen home opener on Saturday, October 17 at 6 pm at marksmenhockey.com
