HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – The SPHL announced Friday the addition of two games to each of its team’s schedules for the 2025-26 season, increasing the slate to 58- 29 home and 29 away.

In its announcement, the league cited increased attendance across the last number of seasons. For Fayetteville, that increase has been over 40% since the 2022-23 campaign.

“We are excited to give fans an additional opportunity to experience the fun and excitement of an SPHL game,” said Commissioner Doug Price. “Seeing the support and commitment from fans around the league following the COVID shutdown and subsequent shortened season, we felt it was the right time to expand our regular season.”
