Organization: Fayetteville Marksmen

Position: Video Production Intern

Reports to: Director of Media Relations

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina

Background: The Fayetteville Marksmen are a professional minor league hockey club, competing in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL), and play their home games at the Crown Complex in Cumberland County. The SPHL is the “Premier” A Hockey League, whom the Fayetteville franchise has been a member of since the inception. 

Summary: The Video Production Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Media Relations in the creation of ideas, working alongside for projects, and production for assignments on the Marksmen Media Network. Work will include shooting, designing shot landscapes, and both live and prerecorded content. The best candidate(s) will have prior video experience, preferably in sports, have knowledge and experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud, and will come to the DoMR with new ideas.

Job Duties:

-Produce video content for Marksmen Media Network under supervision of the Director of Media Relations

-Shoot video during games and practices

-Shoot non-game related video content

-Have understanding of basic and advanced camera usage, shot composition, and working with a variety of equipment

-Be able to shoot both live and non-live content

-Have knowledge and ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud

-Create video highlights for social media during games

-Be able to create, shoot, and edit all content they work with

-Bring new ideas to DoMR and be able to implement or outline ideas in tangible way

-Be available for a majority of home games
