On-After Sports Bar & Grub presents “Marksmen Home Away From Home”

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Working with veteran-owned, local-community based organizations and businesses is always at the forefront of our mission. Alongside that, creating the absolute best experience and unique offerings for our fans matters.

Today, our organization was able to create both, as we officially announce our partnership with On-After Bar & Grub as our Official “Home Away From Home” – the watch-party destination for ALL 28 of our road games this season. On-After is a veteran-owned sports bar and grill located in Fayetteville that supports local organizations, our military, and the first-responders.

On-After will be the place to go when we’re away from the Crown Coliseum, as they’ll be showing all of our road game television broadcasts, called by the Voice of the Marksmen Shawn Bednard (via SPHLlive) in their venue, with their fantastic food and drink specials creating an environment worth being at. Being a highly-rated local establishment known for its friendly atmosphere and affordable prices, it is the perfect place to host our broadcasts and welcome our fans.

Director of Corporate Partnerships Scott Kelly was instrumental in helping create the relationship and bring aboard On-After. He said that it was his conversations with the owner, Bear, that really cemented that On-After was the right place for our fans.

“Bear is what the Marksmen are about: someone who cares and gives to the community,” said Kelley “We are honored to have such a person and organization part of the Marksmen family.”

Director of Digital Marketing & Media Shawn Bednard shared his excitement in welcoming On-After to the media network.

“My goal from the start has been to create a fully-immersive media network for fans, so that the connection between fans and the team would never be in question, and to be able to service our supporters in the best way possible. Scott and I discussed finding the right place where could watch our away games, and he did a great job finding the perfect venue. Being able to have a veteran-owned, incredibly-reputable and welcoming local establishment like On-After be the home for our fans to go and see our team when we’re not in town is outstanding,” said Bednard “While I won’t be there on away game days, I’m excited that our fans can be, see our team in action, and be part of a community atmosphere. Thanks to Bear and the fine folks at On-After for teaming up with us for the betterment of our fans.”

The first day of this partnership between the Marksmen and On-After officially kicks off on Saturday, October 20 as the Marksmen head to Macon, GA for their first road game of the season against the Mayhem, with a 7:35 puck drop. Head to On-After and catch the broadcast all night long, with the Voice of the Marksmen on the Marksmen Media Network.

Opening Night is TWO DAYS AWAY, as the 2018-19 Marksmen Home Opener is October 19th against the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, and tickets are on sale NOW!
