Meet the Marksmen Hunnies Cheerleading

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Creating a memorable game day experience is a crucial part of the Fayetteville Marksmen mission every single home game. From the Crown’s new State of the Art LED video board, to some of the most exciting hockey action in the state, the Marksmen are committed to the best weekend entertainment in the county.

The Marksmen are excited to continue that tradition of event excellence by welcoming aboard our Cheerleading team, the Marksmen Hunnies. The Marksmen Hunnies are a premier hype team in the Triangle, and have been working to promote and engage the fans by creating the best environment possible.

You may have seen the Marksmen Hunnies out around the Greater Fayetteville area, already getting fans in the community excited for October 19. For the Marksmen organization, having a squad like theirs to continue to grow the a Marksmen game day experience is outstanding.

Marksmen Hunnies’ owner Christin Cox expressed the abilities in having her team part of the Marksmen organization.

“I am extremely excited about the Hunnies Cheerleaders teaming up with the Fayetteville Marksmen. The Marksmen organization is one of the most community oriented organizations around, and it is an honor to be a part of that. Fayetteville is also home to many of our cheerleaders this season,” said Cox “The Marksmen Hunnies will bring a ton of game day excitement – we are high energy and fun personalities that come from very diverse dance and cheer backgrounds. We are excited to entertain you, the fans, this season, and can’t wait to dance and take pictures with the awesome Marksmen fans – Fear The Fox!”

Manager of Game Operations Marissa Reighard was behind the partnership with the Marksmen Hunnies.

“I want to create an experience for fans who can come to a game and laugh, dance, get on the big screen, and have a memorable night, something they’re still talking about at work or school on Monday. With everything we’ve done preparing for this season’s promotions and entertainment, we’re crafting an experience that people won’t forget,” said Reighard “The Marksmen Hunnies fit right into that vision, by getting fans engaged and up on their feet cheering. They’ll bring the energy for game day, and be a huge part of our community outreach.”

The Marksmen Hunnies will be present at seven of our biggest games of the season, and will continue to create an environment that makes the Crown Coliseum one of the premier hockey arenas in all of the South.
