Marksmen Welcome VP/Director of Sales

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Marksmen Owner Chuck Norris, from the start of the organization, has made it his mission to return hockey in Fayetteville to its prominence, and bring the Crown Coliseum back to a destination every game day.

With constant-improvements in every facet of the organization from year one to year two – quality of team, in-game promotions, and arena atmosphere – the focus on building crowds, bring in new crowds, and retain fans from game-to-game has taken an increased, and necessary, focus.

To strengthen the determination, the Marksmen organization has announced the hiring of the team’s new Vice-President and Director of Ticket Sales, Daniel Chizmar.

Chizmar comes to Fayetteville with a plethora of knowledge and experience from his last eight-years in hockey, working at the highest-level of Minor League Hockey in the American Hockey League.

A 2010 graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor’s in Sports Entertainment and Event Management, Chizmar would spend 2012 to 2018 working his way up the sales ladder for the Providence Bruins, starting off as the Director of Sales, and finishing his tenure as the Vice President of Tickets & Events. He would spend the final months of 2018 as the Binghamton Devils’ Vice President of Sales.

With the Fayetteville Marksmen, Chizmar is presented with the opportunity to start at the ground floor, and be the catalyst of the future of the Marksmen organization, in returning it to the prominence and notoriety of huge, loud crowds that the city was known for over a decade ago.

“Today, I am happy to join the Fayetteville Marksmen Hockey Team. I joined this team because of the passion and drive I see from everyone involved in the organization to make this club be the best in the SPHL,” said Chizmar “I want to come in and help make a difference in the attendance here at the Marksmen games. This team is playing well and I want to help lead the staff in getting people to the games. I bring with me 8 years of Sales and Leadership Experience from the American Hockey League.”

Chizmar is on the ground, and heading into the second-half of the season, the Marksmen look to finish hot – with performance on the ice, and with ever-increasing crowds at the beautiful Crown Coliseum.
