Marksmen Ink Rookie Forward

Fayetteville, N.C-  With college seasons ending all across the country, the Fayetteville Marksmen have begun adding rookie talent as the season winds to a close. Forward Trent Durocher is the latest signee to agree to an amateur tryout, the team announced on Wednesday.

Durocher, 25, joins the Marksmen after concluding his collegiate career with SUNY-Oswego. This season with the Lakers, the 6-foot-5, 216-pound native of Canton, New York skated in 18 contests registering five points (2G, 3A).

In all, Durocher competed in 41 NCAA Division-III games, including time with SUNY-Potsdam during the 2015/16 season, where he was teammates with current Marksmen defenseman, Brad Campagna.

The Marksmen are home at the Crown Coliseum all month long, starting with a weekend series against the Evansville Thunderbolts on March 10th and 11th. Tickets for each game can be found at www.marksmenhockey.com or by calling 910-321-0123.
