Marksmen Announce Protected List

Fayetteville, N.C- The Fayetteville Marksmen, along with the Southern Professional Hockey League, announced the team’s protected list. This year’s list contains one goalie, five defensemen, and seven forwards. Highlighting this year’s list are returning veterans, Jake Hauswirth and Brad Campagna, and youngsters Andrew DeBrincat and Jamie Hill.

Players protected by a team cannot be selected by the Quad City franchise in the expansion draft. The Marksmen also have first opportunity for negotiations with the protected players and the team will retain the rights of each player throughout the 2018-19 season, if a contract is not reached.
